Step-by-step: ZipFencer → TikTok Ads

    Export your target ZIPs from ZipFencer.

    Match the ZIPs to your CRM to pull users in those postal codes.

  3. 3

    Upload that user list as a TikTok Custom Audience (email or phone hash).

  4. 4

    In the ad group, target the Custom Audience and pick the broadest matching DMA.

  5. 5

    Layer interest categories on top to keep volume reasonable.

Gotchas to avoid

  • TikTok does NOT support direct ZIP targeting — the smallest native unit is DMA.
  • For ZIP precision, build a CRM list of users whose addresses fall in your target ZIPs and upload as a Custom Audience.
  • TikTok's location resolution skews mobile, so signals are noisier than Meta or Google.
