Where to find it in the UI

Campaign → Audience → Locations

Step-by-step: ZipFencer → LinkedIn Ads

  1. 1

Run a ZipFencer search around your office or service hub.

  2. 2

Note which metros contain your target ZIPs (the city page tells you).

  3. 3

In LinkedIn, add those metros as locations.

  4. 4

Tighten with firmographic filters — title, company size, industry.

Gotchas to avoid

  • LinkedIn does NOT accept ZIPs. Use your ZipFencer export to identify the surrounding metro and target that.
  • Metro targeting reaches well beyond a single ZIP — expect 5–20x wider audience than the underlying ZIP set.
  • Layering Job Title + Company Size + Industry keeps wide metro targeting tight enough for B2B.
