Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ross AI Solutions("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use ZipFencer (the "Service"). We are the data controller for personal information processed through the Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifiers (e.g. Google OAuth subject), password hash (we never see your password).
  • Usage data: saved searches, polygon zones, campaign names, search history, quota events, and the credits ledger.
  • Billing data: Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and plan tier. We never see or store your payment-card details— those are handled by Stripe.
  • Technical data: IP address, user-agent string, and basic request logs, used for security and abuse prevention.

2. What we do not collect

  • Payment-card numbers, CVV, or bank credentials.
  • Sensitive personal categories (race, health, biometrics, etc.).
  • Your end-customers' personal information — the Service operates on ZIP-level geographic data, not on individuals.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Sub-processors

We share data with the following service providers strictly to operate the Service:

  • Lovable Cloud — database, authentication, and hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing, subscriptions, and tax compliance.
  • Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose to use it).
  • Lovable AI Gateway — model inference for AI-assisted features.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and checkout. Functional and analytics cookies (if any) are only set with your consent via our consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — security logging and abuse prevention.
  • Consent — non-essential cookies and any optional analytics.
  • Legal obligation — tax records, dispute resolution.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data ("right to erasure").
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

You can exercise delete and export rights directly from the in-app Settings page, or by emailing detaviusross@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories described in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation derived from IP). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Submit requests by email or via Settings.

9. International transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for legal and accounting obligations. Security logs are retained for up to 90 days. Deleting your account removes account and usage data; backups roll off within 30 days.

11. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS, encryption at rest, row-level security on user data, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
