  • Radius, donut, and bullseye ZIP rings from a US address
  • Split to Google's 1,000-ZIP paste cap
  • Google Ads Editor CSV on Starter and Pro

ZIP lists use Census ZCTA polygons. Google Ads may expand ZIP reach slightly — we do not claim identical polygons to Google's.

Will Google Ads accept a ZipFencer ZIP list?

Yes. ZipFencer splits lists to Google's 1,000-ZIP paste cap and, on Starter and Pro, downloads Google Ads Editor CSV. The live demo is a watermarked 25-ZIP sample so you can see the format without signing up. Paste includes and excludes into campaign location targeting, then watch Google's conflict rules — a ZIP that is both included and excluded will not behave the way the map looks. Lists use Census ZCTA polygons, which are not identical to Google Ads ZIP polygons.

What's the difference between radius, donut, and bullseye ZIP targeting?

Radius is a disk of ZCTAs that intersect a circle around an address. Donut is an outer include ring with the inner miles excluded — the usual spillover control for stores that should not bid next door. Bullseye splits one address into 2–5 concentric ZIP lists for bid modifiers or staged rollout by distance. Advanced modes are on Starter and Pro; the live demo is radius only. Export each ring as its own include or exclude list so Google Ads can treat them as separate location targets.

Are ZIP lists identical to Google Ads ZIP polygons?

No. Lists use Census ZCTA polygons. Google Ads may expand ZIP reach slightly beyond the ZCTA shape, and Presence versus interest still decides whether someone who lives there or merely searches from there is eligible. Use ZipFencer to build paste-ready batches or Editor CSV, then spot-check border ZIPs in Google Ads before you scale. We do not claim identical polygons — that ZCTA-versus-Google gap is the accuracy line we hold on every export.
